N95 Respirators Available for Essential Outdoor Workers

As the Air Quality Index continues to be forecasted in the “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups” range due to wildfire smoke, please note that Supply Chain Management has N95 respirators available for essential outdoor workers, health care workers and first responders. The respirators are in-stock, on campus, and can be purchased through the Central Storehouse.

Changes to Travel, Procurement Card Policies

The Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) was recently updated to include several important changes related to travel and the Procurement Card (P-Card).   Travel (PPM 300-10) revisions include:
  • Use of the Travel Visa card for unauthorized or personal expenses is prohibited.
  • Expenses incurred on behalf of a fiscal officer may not be charged to accounts which that fiscal officer is responsible for, without additional approval by a more senior financial official within the department,

Face Coverings Available to Meet Immediate Need of Employees Working on Campus

To assist essential employees who do not yet have a suitable face covering to meet the Yolo County health order to wear one, UC Davis has a limited supply available to departments. This includes 3-ply tie-on masks, 3-ply elastic ear loop masks, and double-layer, tie-on masks being produced by student employees at the UC Davis Craft Center. Face coverings are available free of charge to campus departments through May 15 or while supplies last.

Distribution & Logistics Takes In Big Vet School Donation

The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) is donating thousands of pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) to UC Davis Health to aid in their efforts to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

Loren Jenkins, mail services supervisor at UC Davis Health, accepted the donations Wednesday, March 25 .

Upcoming In-Person Forums Postponed

In an effort to help control the spread of coronavirus and in response to shelter-in-place orders, Supply Chain Management is postponing the upcoming Forms Forum, scheduled for Wednesday, April 1. It will be rescheduled for a latter date.

The AggieShip/AggieTravel Forum scheduled at the Cannery for Wednesday, March 25 is being restructured as a slide presentation. If you are a Sacramento campus employee and would like to receive the slides, please contact [email protected].
