AggieSupply operates a group of on-campus stores where employees can purchase items for the workplace, research and maintenance.

Our ability to sell in stock goods, previously owned goods, and goods from trusted suppliers creates efficiency in the campus supply chain. AggieSupply includes the following stores:

Maintenance and Repair Operations Store

The MRO Store will be closed June 7th and 8th to conduct end-of-year inventory. Purchase any needed materials prior to June 7th.  During this time, only emergency orders will be processed; contact Eric Loveless for emergency instructions (530-754-6559 or  The closure will not impact MRO Store’s receiving of non-stock materials.  The MRO Storehouse will resume standard operations, Monday, June 10.

We primarily serve the Facilities Management unit, but have working relationships with various other departments. Our store has more than 6,500 products in the following categories:

UC Davis Scientific Store

The Scientific Store will be closed Monday, June 10 through Wednesday, June 12 to conduct end-of-year inventory. Lab supplies are always available through AggieBuy  and many frequently used lab items can be found at the Kiosk Supply Center at Vet Med 3B. The UC Davis Scientific Store offers many frequently-needed lab items; many of the items can be picked up from their on-campus location the same day or delivered through campus mail to designated mail stops. 

Located in Haring Hall, the Scientific Store is stocked with everything from general lab supplies and enzymes to office supplies and tools. Hours are 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The UC Davis Scientific Store is the place for new laboratory workers to be fitted for and obtain PPE, including lab coats and non-prescription safety glasses, and/or when hazards or processes change in the workplace resulting in new PPE requirements.  Principal Investigators and new laboratory workers must first access the Laboratory Hazard Assessment (LHAT) tool to conduct an assessment and obtain a voucher for the proper PPE.

Walk-in fittings are available at Haring Hall 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. To make an appointment for an afternoon fitting, please contact or call 530-752-0157.

PPE Fitting Requirements

The following items are required for fitting:  

  • Copy of LHAT Voucher
  • Account or recharge number for PPE
  • Building and room number

PPE Fitting and Distribution Process

  1. Staff will properly fit you for lab apparel and eyewear. If alterations are needed, store staff will take measurements and have apparel altered for an extra charge.
  2. Staff will properly label apparel with an ID tag.
  3. Staff will enter the items distributed into LHAT.
  4. You will be notified of apparel and eyewear arrival for pick up at Haring Hall 1139 during normal business hours or provided the option for delivery to your designated mail stop.

Pipette Maintenance

Preventative maintenance of pipettes, including inspections, cleaning and minor repairs, is conducted by representatives from Rainin. Kiosk Supply Center

The Scientific Store manages the self-serve kiosks located in the campus Health Sciences District in Vet Med 3B. There are three vendor kiosks that carry a wide range of on-demand life science enzymes, molecular biology kits, gels, reagents and other supplies.
