Direct Billing for Flights to End This Fall

The current direct bill piece of the Preferred Booking Program will be discontinued this fall. As part of that transition, reservations made in AggieExpense will no longer be direct billed to the university central account. You or your delegate will need a university Travel Card or an Instant Card to book a flight in AggieExpense, whether for yourself or a guest traveler.

Non-employee travelers (guests and students) can also use the Instant Card for university travel expenses.

To prepare for the transition, if you or your delegate do not already have a Travel Card, you should request one in the coming weeks. All that is required is the completion of the Travel Card Corporate Liability Training and submitting a card application through AggieExpense. Details on this process, as well as the benefits of being a Travel Cardholder, can be found on the Travel Card webpage.

If you already have a Travel Card, you can add your credit card information to AggieExpense now. Step-by-step instructions for adding a card to your profile can be found on Setting Default Travel Card Knowledge Base Article.

The final date for booking with direct billing will be Friday, Oct. 2.
