Conference and Event Services has a new process for the UC Davis Permit to Serve Alcoholic Beverages.

Following Campus Policy and Procedure Manual PPM 270-20, Conference and Event Services (CES) is required to represent non-university entities during their time on campus. This includes ensuring the appropriate facility agreements and event insurance coverages are in place to support and protect event attendees and the campus. This process also applies to groups utilizing campus Housing.

UC Davis recently completed its annual certification of buildings and facilities with completed state capital projects and deferred maintenance related to California Senate Bill 820.

The PDF forms used to justify an airfare upgrade and to justify exceeding the lodging rate limit have been replaced by a more streamlined process within AggieExpense. Airfare and lodging expenses are governed by UC Policy G-28.

The new fields are viewable in the expense line when selecting Airfare or Lodging expense types.

Beginning Monday, March 31, a new webform will be used to make requests for Carve Outs to UC’s Covered Services policy.
