Updated SB820 List Completed
UC Davis recently completed its annual certification of buildings and facilities with completed state capital projects and deferred maintenance related to California Senate Bill 820.
Dozens of buildings and facilities were added to the list this year, including, for example, King Hall, Mrak Hall and Meyer Hall. SB 820 requires that for the University of California to proceed with General Fund capital expenditures, all services traditionally performed by university staff in that building be performed by UC employees. There are no provisions for carve-outs.
It is imperative that you determine whether your building is part of the SB820 list before initiating any contracted services for work customarily performed by SX or EX employees. A list of these buildings can be found on the Supply Chain Management SB820 webpage.
Questions about the list should be directed to Design and Construction Management at cpmahelp@ucdavis.edu.
