The AggieEnterprise project, scheduled to go live at UC Davis in January 2024, will introduce a new catalog purchasing solution, provided by Oracle, that will replace the current AggieBuy platform.
AggieBuy will be decommissioned after Aggie Enterprise goes live.
Many of the Same Catalogs will be Available
Aggie Enterprise purchasing will still allow customers to process and complete catalog purchases from many of the same suppliers they currently use.
Customers will also still be able to shop online, request will-call, and shop in-store at the AggieSupply stores (including Central Storehouse MRO Store, and Scientific and Chemistry Stores).
Both hosted and punch-out catalogs will be available in Aggie Enterprise.
Default Settings Will Save Time
A Requisition Preferences screen will allow users to:
- set up default accounts, making it easier to create Requisitions without having to search for an account each time
- save their most frequently-used delivery location
Similar Features
The Aggie Enterprise catalog shopping will include many of the same features in AggieBuy:
- Shopping and Favorites lists
- Ability to create and save multiple shopping carts
- Functionality to add and combine multiple supplier catalogs in one Requisition
NOTE: A Window Shopper role/functionality will not exist in the same way in Aggie Enterprise as it does in AggieBuy, but there will be a modified option available for shoppers who wish to build a cart and assign it to another user without submitting the Requisition.
Conversion Information
- Open AggieBuy purchase orders (POs) from 1/1/22 through 12/31/23 will be converted to Aggie Enterprise through the conversion of KFS documents. The Aggie Enterprise PO number will equal the AggieBuy PO number, beginning with UCDAB, to help with tracking.
- Most of the current AggieBuy suppliers will be converted to Aggie Enterprise.
- AggieBuy will continue to be available for a period of time after Aggie Enterprise go-live, to assist customers looking for past transactional and historical data.
- Review the Conversion Information page for more details.
