Aggie Enterprise is Next Chapter of E-Procurement!

AggieEnterprise has introduced a new catalog purchasing solution, provided by Oracle, that replaces the previous AggieBuy platform.

Many of the Same Catalogs are Available

Aggie Enterprise purchasing allows customers to process and complete catalog purchases from many of the same suppliers they previously used.

Customers are still able to shop online, request will-call, and shop in-store at the AggieSupply stores (including Central Storehouse MRO Store, and Scientific and Chemistry Stores).

Both hosted and punchout catalogs are available in Aggie Enterprise.

Default Settings Save Time

A Requisition Preferences screen allows users to:

  • set up default accounts, making it easier to create Requisitions without having to search for an account each time
  • save their most frequently-used delivery location

Similar Features

The Aggie Enterprise catalog shopping include many of the same features that were in AggieBuy:

  • Shopping and Favorites lists
  • Ability to create and save multiple shopping carts
  • Functionality to add and combine multiple supplier catalogs in one Requisition

NOTE: A Window Shopper role/functionality does not exist in the same way in Aggie Enterprise as it did in AggieBuy, but there is a modified option available for shoppers who wish to build a cart and assign it to another user without submitting the Requisition.

Conversion Information

  • Open AggieBuy purchase orders (POs) from 01/01/22 through 12/31/23 were converted to Aggie Enterprise through the conversion of KFS documents.  The Aggie Enterprise PO number equals the AggieBuy PO number, beginning with UCDAB, to help with tracking.
  • Most of the current AggieBuy suppliers will be converted to Aggie Enterprise.
  • AggieBuy will continue to be available for a period of time after Aggie Enterprise go-live, to assist customers looking for past transactional and historical data.
  • Review the Conversion Information page for more details.
