Logistics Operations During AFSCME Strike
Please note that changes will be made to package deliveries during the planned AFSCME strike, Wednesday, Nov. 20 – Thursday, Nov. 21.
UC Davis Logistics will prioritize perishable items and live animals during this time. Receiving will be documented in AggieLogistics to ensure that customers receive email notification when their package has arrived at Central Receiving. If delivery of these items is not possible, packages can be picked up at Central Receiving, 615 Hopkins Dr., from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
Logistics is working with all campus carriers, including UPS, to ensure perishable and critical packages will not be delayed in conjunction with the AFSCME strike.
Non-perishable, non-critical packages will be delivered during the strike whenever possible, depending on circumstances. Regular delivery will resume on Friday, Nov. 22.
If you have concerns about critical items expected during Nov. 20-Nov. 21, please contact UC Davis Logistics at mailservices@ucdavis.edu.
