Training is required before access is granted for international and hazardous materials shipments. Training is not required for domestic ground and express shipments of non-hazardous materials.
Hazardous shipping and international shipping require completion of separate UC Learning Center online courses. Register and complete the training courses in the UC Learning Center.
AggieShip General Overview Training
This training provides a high-level overview of AggieShip and is recommended for new users and for anyone who wants an overview of the various AggieShip functions.
AggieShip International Shipment Training
This training is required for anyone who will be shipping books, published documents, UC Davis marketing items, or course materials outside of the United States. The training only needs to be completed once.
Once training is completed please email your training certificate to aggieship@ucdavis.edu. Access to the hazardous and/or international shipping modules will be granted within four (4) business hours of the initial request.
AggieShip Hazardous Materials Shipping Training
This training is required for anyone shipping dry ice, Category B- Biological Substance, and hazardous chemicals in excepted quantities.
The training is required every 2 years, along with the successful completion of an online test, to maintain hazardous materials shipping privileges. The hazardous shipping training covers the following topics:
- Classifying
- Packaging/marking
- Preparing shipping paperwork
