Plan Now for Amazon Punchout Downtime
The Amazon punchout catalog in Aggie Enterprise will be unavailable from Tuesday, July 28 through Friday, July 31. The downtime is needed to move the catalog to a UC Davis-specific instance. After the transition, users won’t need a separate Amazon login when using the punchout; they will be able to use their standard UC Davis login.
The other 30-plus Aggie Enterprise catalogs will continue to be available during that time. This includes computer and office supplies, custodial supplies, facilities and hardware items, furniture and scientific, medical, and laboratory supplies.
Please plan now to ensure Amazon orders are placed and approved by department approvers before the downtime begins. Amazon orders that aren’t finalized by Monday, July 27 will not be fulfilled.
If you want a report of your Amazon purchasing history, please plan to retrieve it prior to Monday, July 27. After the Amazon instance is refreshed, previous Amazon order history will no longer be accessible. This includes records of purchased Amazon gift cards, so please encourage recipients to claim their cards before the downtime. They do not need to spend the funds immediately, but they should add the gift card code to their Amazon account, as purchasers will no longer be able to retrieve gift card codes from their order history after July 27.
Questions can be directed to the Aggie Enterprise Help Desk or drop by Office Hours and join the Purchasing breakout room.
